ABOUT COACH CLARK
Jarrod Clark, the driving force behind Fundamentals First Sports, brings a wealth of experience and passion to the organization. With over 13 years of coaching and mentorship in the Metro Atlanta Area, Clark's journey from player to coach reflects a deep commitment to youth development in sports. A former member of the men's basketball team at Southern Polytechnic State University, Clark's playing experience laid the foundation for his coaching career. Graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, he transitioned into coaching with a desire to share his love for sports and mentor young athletes. Clark's coaching journey began in 2011 when he accepted a Head Middle School Boys Basketball coaching position, followed swiftly by a Head Varsity Boys Basketball coaching position in 2012. It was during this time that Clark discovered his passion for coaching and teaching the game of basketball. Through hosting basketball camps, clinics, and overseas exposure events, Clark demonstrated his dedication to player development and mentorship. He has worked tirelessly to empower athletes to reach their full potential, whether they're aspiring to earn basketball scholarships or pursue professional opportunities. Clark's commitment to youth extends beyond the basketball court. Volunteering and working with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Atlanta further fueled his passion for making a positive impact on the next generation. His experiences have shaped him into a mentor, leader, and advocate for youth development in sports. Rooted in his own journey from player to coach, Clark's vision for Fundamentals First Sports is to create a supportive and inclusive environment where every athlete has the opportunity to thrive. His dedication to educating, encouraging, and empowering young athletes drives everything the organization does, making him a respected figure in the Metro Atlanta sports community.
